Tile flooring in Wentzville, MO

Every Wentzville floor plan has the same pinch points, and tile owns all of them. The mudroom between the three-car garage and the kitchen. The laundry room where a washer will eventually leak. The primary bath and its shower. The powder room off the entry. Those are the spots that take water, road salt and grit all winter, and tile is the only floor that shrugs at all three for thirty years.

It earns its spot on looks too. Large-format porcelain at 12x24 or 24x48 gives you a clean floor with very little grout, which suits the open plans out here. Tile is the job where surprises live below the surface, so we would rather find them at the measure than on day two. You pick material at the showroom or from samples we bring out, and we lay the pattern out with you so you know where the center lines and the cut tiles are going to land.

On site we protect the route in, demo the old floor and haul the debris, then prep the substrate. Tile gets set, grout goes in the next day, and caulk goes at every change of plane instead of grout, because that is where movement happens. A mudroom and bath together is usually two to three days. A large main-floor area or a full shower runs about a week, plus cure time before you walk it.
