Veteran Flooring was started in 2015 by a United States Marine who wanted flooring run the way the Corps taught him to run things: show up when you said you would, do the work to standard, finish what you started. That has not changed. Dale Wyatt is on the job site while your floor goes in, not just at the sales call, so the person accountable for the work is the person doing it.
We measure the rooms, look at what the subfloor is actually doing, and put one number in writing, usually back to you within one business day. That number is what you pay. No labor variance fees, no new line items once the tear-out starts. Our labor carries a one-year workmanship warranty, and your flooring carries its manufacturer warranty on top of that.
The owner on site Dale Wyatt is on your job while the work happens. Questions about a transition, a stain color, or what we found under the old carpet get answered by the person accountable for the floor.
One honest number Erik measures the rooms and checks the subfloor before he quotes, so the written price covers the whole project. It does not grow halfway through the install.

Usually, yes. A lot of St. Louis brick homes and mid-county ranches have red or white oak strip flooring sitting under old carpet. We pull up a corner, see how much wood is left above the nails, and sand with dust containment equipment. Before we commit to a color we test stains on your own floor, because oak in your light does not look like a sample in our showroom.
